Elisabeth Pol is a dedicated student in the field of Psychology, who is currently pursuing her M.S.M.S. at the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Elisabeth’s unique educational journey started when she graduated high school at Villa Maria Academy in 2015, then quickly received her Associate's degree in Specialized Technology, Graphic Design, and Multimedia (A.A.) in December 2016. After working in the technology and online advertising industry for four years, Elisabeth enrolled in college at Penn State Behrend and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology (B.S.) in May 2023. Elisabeth’s journey did not come lightly. She was born with a rare genetic skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Elisabeth’s life has been about living to the fullest while learning how to adapt to different challenges due to EB. Elisabeth supports debra of America, an organization dedicated to advocating for peoples with EB, by contributing donations from the profits she makes designing websites using her Associate’s degree. It quickly hit Elisabeth that there was so much more to life, and that she was so fortunate for the lifestyle she was living given the severity of her condition. Elisabeth is committed to help others, raise awareness, and aspires to become a doctor. Elisabeth loves finding new coffee shops to try, enjoys spending time with her family, and promotes a word search and crossword puzzle book she developed and published for medical and health science students and professionals who enjoy brain games called, Word Surge Medical Terminology™©.
